ABOUT the counselor

I have a double Masters degree in Counseling and in the the field of Sociology.  My education has given me a unique perspective to explore with both a micro and a macro lens.  I seek to know my clients as novel individuals with their own unique experiences.  And to also understand them within the context of their cultural and societal backgrounds.  

 

My theoretical orientation is based on narrative therapy, depth psychology, attachment studies, and family systems.  I tailor my approach based on each client’s needs and wants,  incorporating different behavioral, cognitive, or emotional interventions as suits each individual person.
